Elements of our domestic youth missions are fellowship, prayer, praise & worship, formational talks, group reflection and sharing, and of course, serving the poor and those in need in a tangible way. We provide materials for the mission preparation. Youth must be of high school age. We provide transportation, mission materials, room and meals. Boys and girls will be housed in separate areas, sleeping on the floor of a host church. Meals are prepared and served at our home base, Drummond Town Baptist Church in Onley, Va. Transportation will be provided from one central location, which is to be determined. The mission begins around noon on July 25 and end around 11 am July 31. Times subject to change. We recommend you seek support via parish, family, friends and youth group fundraising. We partner with www.flipcause.com to create easy online fundraising campaigns. Participants, parents and leaders can all track the progress! Spread the word through multiple channels! Send emails, share your page on social media, make print outs with a link to your page, or even host a small event to launch your peer campaign. Your peer fundraiser page can make a huge impact. Some serve by giving, some give by serving.
